Senior Expert Operational Excellence (m/f/d) Job

Your tasks at RENOLIT

  • Conduct comprehensive operational maturity assessments at production sites to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a company-wide OPEX roadmap and site-specific action plans aligned with corporate strategy
  • Lead high-impact transformation projects in close collaboration with plant management, delivering measurable results and quick wins
  • Analyze OEE and other key performance indicators to identify trends, root causes, and enable data-driven decisions
  • Provide hands-on implementation support and coaching on OPEX methodologies (e.g. VSM, SMED, SFM) tailored to plastic film manufacturing processes
  • Standardize OPEX methods and KPIs across the group to ensure consistent performance management
  • Design and deliver practical training and workshops, building OPEX capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to drive adoption of new processes and sustain improvement initiatives
     

What we expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • In-depth practical knowledge of OPEX methodologies (e.g. Value Stream Design, SMED, Shop Floor Management, 5S, Root Cause Analysis) and demonstrable success in improving key metrics, especially OEE
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt) or Lean Trainer certification highly preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills to engage and motivate stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong change management capabilities with a pragmatic, people-focused approach
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering tangible, sustainable results
  • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working effectively across departments and cultures in a global organization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to dive into details for successful implementation
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages (e.g. German) is an advantage
  • Proven track record in leading operational excellence transformations within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the process or plastics industry
